Promotion’s in the Air
Recently, we visited Mount Abu and it was a fabulous trip. This picture was taken at the sunset point.
A few things have changed since my last post. My half yearly birthday, Diwali celebration in Udaipur, Dad’s new job, and our new SUV, I have a lot to share. We visited Jaipur and had immense fun there. It was Ramleela time so Chachi dressed me and Avi as Sita and Hanuman. It turned out to be a real fun and we got involved so much in the theme that we started to feel like real heroes of Ramayan.
I think I didn’t talk about Dad’s new job for which he travels to Gurgaon daily. It has gone little hectic for him but he keeps on delivering his promises on weekends. We go to a mall on Friday evening. Saturday belongs to Dadu and his newspaper for which Dad writes articles and editorial. And Sunday is our family day. Mom takes the call and we do something amazing on Sundays. We normally have people from other places and family here so generally, we have plans according to them else, we play or dance or sing.
Amid all the fun, we also had to go through some tough time as Mom got her leg sprained and it twisted to a broken bone. She was advised a six-week rest so Naani, Chachi, and Daadi came and stayed here one by one to take care of mom and me. I really loved the way everyone coordinated well and ensured that for no moment, I or mom was left unattended.
Last December on 12th, we finally got the new SUV Dad has always wanted. Dadu, Dadi, Chachu, Chachi, and Avi had come to celebrate this moment with us. While Dadu and Dadi received the keys from the dealer, Chachu drove it home. This has been our family tradition as from WagonR to Etios to Ciaz, Chachu has only drove our vehicles home.
Mom has got her hands on well and now she drives me school and picks up back. Dad is also happy as the big car is not intimidating mom at all. And I, of course, can handle it well 🙂
The real benefit of the new powerful car was realized when it was a long weekend including a holiday on Mahashivratri when having spent entire Friday at home, suddenly Mom suggested that we go to Jaipur and we were on the road to burn the fresh rubber instantly. It was an instant and ad hoc trip and we all loved it thoroughly. We visited Galta ji and Ghat ke Balaji in Jaipur and had immense fun with Chachu, Chachi, and Avi. we also explored the new flat Chachu is buying in Jaipur which is in the same area where Dad had bought the flat earlier.
We also got a DSLR camera to get some professional photos and quality videos–of me of course :). Dadu was here yesterday. He had come for just one day as the WagonR will now be parked in our Udaipur house. Daadi has already learned to drive so she will take Dadu on dates and drives 🙂
I will talk about my end of Nursery and an exciting beginning to the Year-Five of my Life 🙂
Lots of Love
